That last one is actually the barn conversion that's still more barn than conversion. The pics flatter it considerably.

No. All of the agents say the market is picking up but I don't see that.

Looks like we may end up renting and a very kind PH'er has offered some amazing assistance.

SWMBO is on a couple of viewings today and then heading back tonight as she has a couple of days off.

I'm tiring now of keeping plates spinning at home and SWMBO is getting depressed with her (expensive) Uni accomodation so we are having to fight off making a frustration purchase.

Yeah that would reduce the time a lot. The A470 can be an unusual road though for traffic. As you probably have come to realise Cardiff is a pain to drive around.

Not really Matt as neither of us have done much driving around it yet. Me because I'm still based in the Midlands and SWMBO because she parks the car where she is staying and walks into work during the week. I'm sure we will grow to love it though(not!). However, after Leicester I suspect it won't be too bad.

TT I've seen one or two other houses outside of the main search area that seem to fit the desired criteria if you want me to send them over? But I think pretty much most/all listings have been mentioned here?

Also have the number for the carpenter guy if you still need that?
