The Willows looks good to me, not checked Google maps on it yet though
Yep, I'm on it. Its the one we viewed and were about to put in an offer a couple of months ago when it was taken off as sold. I have spoken with the agent and have the inside track on it. Also looking at a newer house in Wenvoe

Thanks Trev,

First one we viewed a couple of months back and disciunted.
Second one is on the list to take a look at as Llysworny is lovely
Third one we looked in Feb - really is in the middle of nowhere and a very weird property. Discounted.

No problem, TT. You're correct in saying that Llyswerny is a nice village. It is also well situated insomuch as its close to the A48, Cowbridge and most importantly, Llandow circuit.

Oh, and Chris who owns the local garage is a Rover expert.

I met Chris and we had a chat. Nice guy and has some P5 parts which he has invited me to contact him about.

I have just received confirmation that we have exchanged on our house sale.

Committed now chaps! Gulp!

Since I shall be spending the forthcoming wekkend in CArdiff, can anyone recommend a nice pub where we can watch the Spanish Grand Prix live on Sunday while having a spot of lunch?

Yep, Mrs TT had booked an appointment - It rang a bell as we looked at one that shares a driveway with that so i recognised it and cancelled the appointment.

Notice handed in yesterday and accepted today so I shall be free as of 5th June if anyone is looking for a model employee biggrin

This morning we viewed 3 houses one of which was in llysworny and since our viewing has received asking price offer. We have put in a bid for the house in llancarfan and waiting to hear.

Vince I have worked in the credit industry all my working life but would welcome a change. I'm away from home with only my phone which I hate typing on so please send me your phone number by email and I will give you a call if you think you can help.

Well, after chasing the agent again rolleyes we eventually discovered our offer has been accepted on the house in Llancarfan.

Obviously not a done deal just yet but thanks to all of you on here for your help.

Now let's see if we can complete on it in 4 weeks. Not confident but worth a try and then we can move out of this house and into the new one.

Not in the purchase.

For some reason the Solicitors have rung the estate agents and said they don't think they can act for us as they were acting for the former purchasers, having accepted my instructions yesterday.
Note that they didn't call me and I haven't been able to get hold of the Solicitor this afternoon. rolleyes

One in Cowbridge. I figured if I used the one who has already done the work for another party on that property it would be quicker if not cheaper as they would be familiar with the property and already had the searches which we could buy from the previous party..
