Mark Bailey the owner of Trade centre Wales bought it from Fordthorne a few years ago to put in his large RS collection, they originally bought it from Lex when your dad part exed it against the Lotus Carlton.

Mark put it up for sale last year with KGF Classics and that's the last I heard of it, so not sure if it came back to Wales after that. There are a couple of resprayed ones out there in the same colour but most are modified, your dads one is still very much standard.

It was the last rhd saff cosworth made, the last one of all was a lhd in blue that Ford still own.

The Mallard Green Cosworth was sold to somebody else in South Wales, the car was recently sold on at auction.

I saw mark's Porsche 918 on the M4 today.

RAF St Athens were doing several helicopter excercises early hours of this morning across South Wales with Chinooks & Apaches etc according to WalesOnline.

Spotted a good few nice ones today:


-Mid morning a black Ferrari California on the M4 past Port Talbot heading to Cardiff
- B7 Audi S4 Estate in grey near Newport on the M4 came passed me and booted it, it was
incredibly loud! sounded mental.

-65 Plate black on black BMW M3 passed me as i left newport to rejoin M4

- Cardiff gate a red F10 m5 rumbled passsed me ''V10 WAM'' plate. looked amazing.

-Black new shape Bentley Conti GT in front of me on Coryton roundabout towrads cardiff

-New shape Audi RS3 in red followed by a white Mercedes A45 both travelling towards Cardiff on the A470.

so many nice cars floating about locally at the moment... nice weather must bring them out!

Big day today.
around cathays I saw a porche 911, brand new rs6, rs3, e63. audi r8 on crwys road. Bentley continental gt on the street behind crwys. and while in Roath park I saw a Ford gt40 drive past. lovely thing in the flesh. never seen one before.

A yellow/orange Lotus Esprit near Brackla in Bridgend. Also, over the last few days, around the Bridgend area, a Triumph Stag, a deep red Marcos and a red TVR wedge near Pyle.

I think I see this regularly, if it's a grey RS6.
