Convoy to Japfest 2015 - 16th May

(UPDATE - Leaving earlier now after advice from the organisers)

I mentioned at last weeks breakfast meet that I would gauge interest in running a convoy up to Japfest, with short 5 minute stops at services along the way to pick up other PH'ers. I will be on the MLR Stand and need to be there by 08:30 and given the issues of queuing over the last few years would be looking to leave at around 06:00 with stops as required but limited to:

06:00 depart J47 Penllegaer
06:30 depart J36 Sarn Services
06:50 depart J30 Cardiff Gate Services (this stop has been removed as no interest shown)
07:15 depart J23A Magor services
07:45 join the queue

Are there any takers? Could do with at least 5 cars to make this worthwhile and a bit of fun on the way up.

Yeh I was at the brekie meet chatting to you about this (I had the MR2). Should be up for this although 6:30 will mean an early start for me unless I do part of the journey first. We shall see.

Didn't go to the festival but drove to Bath so nice to see all the Jap cars on M4 and around Wiltshire yesterday. Sadly quite a few stuck on the M4 broken down.

Was really shocked by guys in the Nissan silvia (I think) doing massive wheelspin and snaking it after paying the toll bridge. Really quite stupid considering he looked like he almost lost it and would have ended up pilling into the car coming up behind him or hitting the barrier. I don't mind the usual drag race types but they do now have a 50mph limit until all the lanes merge into 3 again.
