Hi all

Just wanted to say thanks for all your donations we have managed to raise more than I hoped for smile

We are currently on £368 plus the gift aid £87.50 total of £455.50 raised for cancer research UK
I'm going to leave it open for a little longer to see if we get any last minute donations .

As some of you may not know, because us Men don't read the instructions. The reason for the run was for Debbie that attended with her brother Peter in the black GTR, sadly is currently terminally ill with cancer. But although she is ill she still manages to keep her sense of humour and not mope about. so please take a moment to say thanks to Debbie also, as she helped organise the and arrange the day.

Stevej that's why she has red hair now and you may not have recognised her..
Again thank you all for coming and making it a great day out smile

See you all soon Matthew smile

Cheers all, I am sure the money raised will help towards the valuable research being carried out.

Yes Steve I do have red "hair" and blonde and white and long and short smile

And I must apologise for the group that we led the wrong way at Builth - I am so used to heading right along a different route that we went on auto pilot and took some of you with us. So I can't even follow my own instructions laugh

It was a great day out though and long overdue as Matt hasn't organised a run in a long time. So thanks Matt for a fun day and thanks to Richard for his work with the drone and if course, James for his work with the camera

Absolutely fantastic. Thank you all for the hard work and effort put into the day, the photo's, video etc. It was my first Pistonheads run and I've spent most of this week thinking about Sunday.

The laminated copy of the route is an awesome keepsake. Thank you Debbie for putting so much thought into this and making the logistics so easy for us all.

Roll on the next one. Thanks again to everyone who came for making it such a memorable day.

Ditto everything above.

It was also my first PH outing and I've been telling anyone who'll listen about it. Potentially got a few people interested for the next run, which I can't wait for.

Thanks again to Matt, Debbie, Richard and James for their efforts and to everyone else for making it such an enjoyable day!

Firstly a very big thanks to EarlGrey and his team for organising a wonderful day out. I would also like to say a huge thanks to my very good mate stevej for the ride out in his wonderfully charismatic TVR Chimera, you can't ride in that car without a bloomin great smile on your facesmile
Being an Aston Martin enthusiast it was great to see 3 of them at the meeting. The sound of the V12 Vantage blasting past us on the A470 was my champagne moment.
I shall remember this day for a long time as it brought together a group of petrol heads young and "not so young" to share in their passion of cars, and boy, there was a cracking turnout.
Being someone who is recently in remission from non Hodgkins Lymphoma it was great to see the wonderful generosity of so many with the contributions topping almost £400, thanks to you all. Cancer affects so many people these days that these amounts will go a long way to hopefully finding better treatment and ultimately a cure one day!
So, a huge thanks to you all for a most enjoyable day................ lets get it on again soon! Cheers smile
