What an awesome collection of cars added so far! Just following the thread really as my car lacks the exotica of many on the list.

Weather forecast for you guys looks grim Thursday & Friday, but just cloudy on Saturday, with rain on Sunday in the morning.
Fingers crossed for you all that it changes.

Earl have you got the route sorted? I spend a lot of weekends up on the Ranges and could offer advice on decent places to park up or to get drive by pics. Nice quiet roads (when there's no tanks) and great backdrops for pics.

Look forward to seeing a few pics when it all comes together

Ryan, you should come along and enjoy the day with us, its not about having a so called exotic car, its about being around like minded people who enjoy imo mans greatest invention (an internal combustion engine strapped to 2 or more wheels), come on, be apart of whats looking like being an epic day...

Well I'm back from Cornwall and just logged on to look at the photos, and I’m chuffed to see I got my weekends mixed up !!! so I will be able to make this one after all, the thing is my car is sick waiting for a new clutch, so I might just mix in on my bike so will be at the Horse shoe bend weather permitting that is, but it should be an excellent turn out of Piston Headers and their cars.

Guys, afraid it's 50/50 for me at the moment. Due to the weather a job has been put back a day so I may find myself working on Sunday

will probably tag on at the same area as you. what will you be driving? I'll be in a Red MK5 R32 and followed by a Black B7 RS4. We're planning on waiting on the Abercynon roundabout if the little layby area is free, otherwise we'll drive to the next closest Merthyr lay by on the A470.

Hi all , for those wanting to meet on the A470 there is a layby near merthyr roundabout, best join in from here...
i will hand out instructions on the day at j30 so if you don't meet here please come see me in the nissan red 350Z when we arrive at the horseshoe bend.

Dont forget to check oil, water & tyre pressures before setting off for the day.
You may use a tank of fuel in the day too, obviously depending on car, there will be a fuel stop if needed halfway during the day, there will be a stop for food but due to numbers. the cafe may struggle. so please consider taking a sarnie, mars bar and a bottle of water with you from tesco just incase.

With the stops we will try to keep them short to make sure the day is not to long.

One last thing and i'm sure i don't have to say but please be mindful of your driving behaviour and please consider other road users and each other.

Is there a route plan in place yet for the initial drive from J30 to the mountains? If so could you google maps it and share it please? I dont know the area very well as I'm from the west :P

The weather forecast keeps changing. Looks ok at the moment so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good weekend of driving

I'll be in a Yellow S2 Exige and will probably wait in the layby on the A470 just after the roundabout at Cyfartha retail park
