Cardiff Bay - things to do?

Hi,

I'm travelling to Cardiff Bay tonight and have a few hours on my own tomorrow. I fancied taking the car out, enjoying the views/roads and may take my camera out and get some pictures.

Can you recommend some roads to drive, some good photo opportunities?

Depends how long you've got. You could head north up the A470 towards Merthyr then take the A465 towards Abergaveeny but take the B4560 towards Llangynidir just after Ebbw Vale. Then get on the A40 towards Brecon or the A479 towards Talgarth (worth visiting The Honey Cafe)then the A438/A470 back to Brecon, A470 back towards Merthyr but then take the A4059 towards Hirwaun and then make your way back to Cardiff. Should take a couple or 3 hours but there are loads of other choices.
