This just popped up on face book anyone know anything about them ,not that I travel that way much but good know

The other half pointed that out to me too.

To be honest, I've always treated them as if they're live anyway, simply not worth the risk otherwise. They're not above every gantry, I think there's about 3 live gantries on each side of the road.

I heard via Drivers Tips that the cameras are live between J28 and J23, Westbound the only two gantrys carrying cameras in that section are the first one after J23a and the second one coming out of the tunnel before J27 but have never seen them go off even when overtaken at speed through that section. Having said that I drive through at around half past 10 at night.
