The Welsh Assembly want to impose huge price increases on the use of forestry land in Wales for rallying. It has the potential to kill the sport if it goes ahead. Please read the petition and sign it if you wish to help.

sad times.

my fave motorsport ever, and living directly below St Gwynno ( a super special stage for a few years, famous vid of McRae absolutely nailing through it cirled on the net a few years ago). On nice days i still take the bikes up there now on the forestry roads for a wander about, so amazing to think of the WRC cars and the legendary drivers that have driven on the very surface only to now realise it'll probably never ever happen again.

sad! will sign the petition this evening (facebook free zone at work!)

I know exactly what you mean. I spent years involved in rallying in all manner of roles during the 70's and 80's and it's now sadly a shadow of its former self.
