Redhead, please don't take this the wrong way, as I don't doubt your story at all. I just don't think that the bank will take much notice of people saying "there's some bloke, who I don't know and have never met, claiming ON THE INTERNET that such & such happened..."

I don't think I'll even bother with a constructive response to that one thanks!

He is right though, the Bank won't give a rat's ass what anyone else thinks and legal action is the way forward.

OK please yourself, as I said I sympathise with you, and FWIW I did email the bank. Just don't pin your hopes on that alone making a difference.

TBH, it's 3 weeks since the first post, by now you should have exhausted ALL avenues through the bank's head office etc, and be initiating legal action.

I agree, the only way you'll get a reaction from the bank is by slapping a summons on them and even then they probably won't contest it - at least you'll get your money.

That approach is in hand but as you know, these things take time.

hi guys, just joined this forum..

really sorry to heard that about your M3, i remember when i bought mine and i also paid half the money by a bankers draft, what the seller did was he took down the name of branch and amount and then confirmed it with the bank to see if its real.

Please see this website for further scams...
