South Wales PHers

Got myself the new Skoda Fabia VRS today, in the signature green. Picked it up from Sinclair today having won it(!). Took some photos, the usual handshake/handing over photo, and went on my merry way with a congratulations cake as well.
Having spent the last 18 months in my wife's cast-off 1.1 206 which barely finds its way up a hill, the new car is a breath of fresh air. Fresh air and new car smell. Love it!

Notwithstanding my PH username, I'm Steve and will be spending a lot more time in the Cardiff area over the coming months, and hopefully relocating at some point in the future
I was down the week before last in my weekend weapon using some of your V-Power around Cardiff, Barry & Brecon!
I tend to spend a lot of time in tunnels around London, or in the Peak district and Evo triangle areas, but I'm keeping an eye on this section for "any excuse" to stretch the legs of this!
Close up, this is the paint finish...
And I've already found your Queens Gate tunnel - any more like this in the area?

Always good to welcome another TVR to the area. I was down the week before last in my

Brand new to the area, and now residing in Swansea. My name's Nick and I drive a 986 Boxster S. Been looking around to see if there are any Porka or at least German car clubs in the area... anyone know of any?
Went looking for the next ride at the weekend actually. Drove an E46 M3, and S4, and S2K, and an Elise S2 - all good except none of them made me smile any more than what i already have.
Decided to sit tight for a year - save the up the beans - and get a Carrera S.

Bugger, i'm in Bristol this Sunday. How often do they happen? as I'd love to come along. I used to go on the South West Tunnel Runs, and they were a right laugh.
The Swansea meet is the second sunday of every month and there is the South West Wales brekkie meet and next month is the South Wales Run which I'm organising see belowhttp://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
When you say South West tunnel runs did you mean the Bristol ones? as I've been to nearly all of these happy days
