Another written off TVR

Just read this and am very glad you are ok , scary , nasty accident , bound to shake anyone up , there shouldn't have been ice on such an important road , sooner you get back into a TVR the better , good luck !

Thanks matey, its actually Lotus New Aluminium (sp?) Silver, gord knows where they came up with that. Sounds like you've got the right attitude, getting back into one asap is definately the way forward..

If you fancy getting your roof off I'd definately reccomend the Chim, the trusty old V8! It might not have the performance of the Tuscan, but its not exactly slow (i have a 500). I've just had clearance from high command to have mine supercharged in the future which adds approximately another 80bhp (apparently), so we'll have to see how quick he is compared to the big boys after that!

Back in the saddle already - went on the PH South Wales Forum Run-Out on Sunday. Co-Pilot to David Godfrey in his Tomara. Great roads, great fun. Spent some of the day chasing a nice red Chimera. You're right, they're not slow are they!

Hi Guys

I was just reminiscing about the loss of my old Tuscan to Andy (myfavouritephotos.com) who I met at the TVRCC 50th Anniversary at Shettleworth and the Millbrook Proving Ground - Yes the TVRCC is the first Car Club to gain access to (some of) the fantastic set of tracks they have at Millbrook.

I got to remind me that I told everyone I was looking for a new car...well here is it

It is a Tuscan Convertible or Tuscan Mark III as some call it. The engine has been upgraded to a Full Racing Green FFF and Neil Garner Performance Engineering has upgraded and set up the suspension perfectly (thanks Neil). The steel 10mm spacers have been fitted to the front wheels and to complete the handling picture I have fitted the German Autosport Rose jointed drop links manufactured by Level Technologies - WOW.

Millbrook opened up the Alpine hill circuit, the banked oval track and the 1m high speed straight…stunning! As you can imagine, having the suspension changed I was really testing it out – it was absolutely great. The Tuscan was tested to the (my) limit and it responded in kind. The photo is on the alpine circuit and we must have been doing close to 70mph at the time. Nice and flat, level and balanced. I was one of the fastest around the hill! So a big thank you for sorting this out for me. .
