Last Sunday of the month , I'm from the Rhondda ,r32 newbie ,pm you closer to date and we could travel down ,my brother said he'll come next time in the evo also, that is as long as he's not pedalling two wheels.
nice! mk4 or 5? sounds good to me. so im guessing it'll be the 28th of this month...?Well after a 4 year 'break' the family and I (wife, 3 ankle biters) have moved back to Pembrokeshire. I'll commute to my job in London during the week (stay up there, come back weekends) but I'll hopefully come along, with my son, to the next breakfast meet. currently in high level negotiations with Colonel Finance regarding a weekend motor. I love german snottage so trying to find a half decent e30 again (I used to have a 325i tourer).

Loved your E30 Touring what you driving nowadays the brekkie meet just keeps growing catch up soon
Danny! Good to hear from you chap and yes it really is 4 years. Time flies etc!
At the moment I've got a 320d for the commute but it's just not quick enough or special. Every journey I did in that E30 was special.
I covered 40,000 miles in one year in her in 2011 - which ultimately broke her I'm sad to say but she had done 228,000miles by the time things went horribly wrong. I was spending about £250 a month just keeping her alive by the end of it. the problem is finding 325i cylinder heads that aren't porous - I changed the head twice on her in that year - it wasn't the cost so much as having to find alternative transport whilst she was being fixed.
So: my next project is going to be an E30 touring but I'm going to go down the route of finding a 330i engine from an E46 to pop that puppy in - the best of all worlds! I could try for an E36 m3 engine of course but the costs......I'm guessing there are plenty of 330i's at a much smaller budget.
