I'm in Miskin (Chim 400). There's another blue Chim in Pontyclun, and my next door neighbour used to have a Green Griff.

but am a 'silent lurker' on the S Wales TVRCC yahoo group!!!
I've not been yet due to working abroad during the week, but might give it a shot when/if I get a local job.

Yeah,
I've been to a few TVRCC meets near Caerleon - was also hoping for a bit more mechanicals in the car park / discussion of modifications etc , rolling road sessions but there's mostly only interest in driving out to places (I do this every day in mine!).
Maybe mine's the blue chim that was spotted in Pontyclun? I work near there. Anybody else drive round there every day?
Cheers

I attend the TVRCC meet at Caerleon most months. While the main talk as a group is often about forthcoming events, and drives, if you talk on a one to one basis, then the subject tend to be cars.
There is a lot of knowledge in the group. The cars range from a 1600m which is featured in TVR books to Cerbs and Tuscans. Two of the members own garages and rebuilt tivs. I have a Wedge and a Taimar which I am gradually refurbing.

I drive around pontyclun/miskin most days as I work from home, but in my daily driver (Honda). Did we excahnge waves at the end of last summer by the Castlell Mynach lights?? That day I was in my dark green Chim!!!
I'd definately be interested in a rolling road session organised by the S Wales TCRCC. I think the 'nova boys' arrange such a meeting at the rolling road garage in Abercynon.

there was a black Cerbera on Caerphilly Mountain yesterday and there's a guy near me who used to have a purple Cerbera but I think he's got a turquoise Tuscan now. I don't know, these TVR's all look the same to me. LOL!
If the cerbie was a black 4.5 & no plate PHIL something, he lives down my road.
Wonder if he's on here?
It used to have the plate AJP --

Yeah, that rings a bell. I quite often come in that way if the weather is bad or traffic problems on the back roads. When will the Chimaera be back out then?
