Informal PH EA(*) (family friendly) get-together/car show on Saturday 20th August Note (*) A few other like minded forums I have associations with may bring the numbers up. Location - Elveden Estate - nice big open area in a rural location (with courtyard shopping, resturant etc) close to Thetford - nice long country walks for both people and dog friendly (as long as leashed) Pictures of a recent event held there are Here - ClickyThis date was previously used by an Italian car club who have been holding an event on the same day for several years but this year the event has been cancelled. I'm not fully sure of the circumstances but The PH "olive branch of friendship" would be held out to anyone with an Italian car or motorcycle who had been planning to attend under it's original format. I'm not (in fact PH isn't) supercar specific - I'd like it just as much if an Alfasud or original Fiat 500 turned up and parked next to a Lambo. I'd aim to bring a few forums together (majority of the attendees will be PH'rs) to create a reasonable attendance (quite a few of local PH'rs are on a few forums already) Edited to bring more info into the original post

Nice idea BC, I'm sure it'll be well supported, but sadly Saturdays are usually a problem for me due to work.

Saturdays are a bit of a pressure point and when I'm not about, I usually end up with grief to deal with on Mondays! I will see what I can do depending on the timings mate, as it sounds good.

might not be understanding the post correctly, are you saying that Italian super club used to hold an event of this day but this year are not ? As far as I know it is run by the chairman of the Ferrari Anglia club and it is all going ahead at elveden on the 20th for all things Italian bikes and cars

Appears that some contact has been made recently and it doesn't look good for the event...

Would love to make this. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait till after October for some get-togethers. The GTO is in desperate need of some driving right now. I envy all the kids I see with Ferrari's and Lambos here in the middle east.

I'm just waiting for confirmation that the venue would be happy to have us (and possibly some other guests) as soon as I have that I'll firm up some stuff

Just got the finer details to sort out now - I'll try and get hold of ILM again tonight....
