Hi all, SOULFIRER from UKSaabs (aka Saab Mafia ..........or Boosted saab peepsdriving)

Mark (markinireland) been pretty busy rebuilding his engine Ian, but there are quite a few of us paid up and coming over for the weekend at the end of th month. Looking forward to it.

Hopefully the fuel shortage issue does not put paid to all our fun.

Link to the UKS post can be found here
http://www.uksaabs.co.uk/UKS/viewtopic.php?f=39&am...

Also for those who have not yet been (and as a memory for some of those who have), here are two of the UKS promotional videos taken in 2009 and 2010 to drum up support for this event within our marque. Hope you enjoy if you have not seen them before. They are SAAB biased, but contain other cars too..honest!

cheers

yes, no problem - I'm thinking I'll be the only Holden there, so should be pretty easy to spot. We'll potter round for as long as is needed. Either my car or hers.
Great, thanks - I'm guessing she may want to use hers. The Evo500 was also easy to spot; has that been pensioned off now?
cheers

Does anyone have an alternate contact address for Rob (or any other organiser)? I've tried e-mailing the admin@mar.. a couple of times over the past few weeks with regards to adding a person onto a booking but received no replies. If anyone has any details it would be appreciated!

The address does work as I got a reply a few months back, but not of late. Hopefully someone will have an alternate contact!

I'm preparing a fresh Evo 500 - have decided it'll not get pensioned off at all 'cos I love driving it that much, but I've found a spare shell which is getting seam-welded, etc ( along with RHD ). Should be back bigger and better than before.

I'll just have to put up with the Holden for a while....

I've got both your emails mate, and replied twice too, but my replies keep getting bounced back mate! I'm not ignoring you, honest!

As said, we've been postponed till May. frown

...whereas it means I will be able to go. Original date came in the middle of two 2 week work trips abroad meaning I'd run out of 'credits' to spend a weekend playing with cars.
Swings and roundabouts I suppose!

It now means another round of hasty prep to get the Nova running though. One day that car will see some proper sympathy rather than quick bodging!

That's right mate. I'll be starting the refund process today. It will take a while, but you will all get your hard earned back!
