so, it'll be Granger snr in the Holden and Granger jnr in the Nova, although he might not bring it for both days.
I just need to reassemble the engine now - I have a bunch of, er, "aftermarket" parts waiting to go onto it.
must also try to find some silencers, too. Just in case.

for this event, you're going to need the following prep-wise...
Fit new brake discs and the hardest pads you can find.
Change the brake fluid.
Get a spare set of wheels and fit some tyres to them.
Marham is an unlimited-time event, you'll be kicking yourself if you run out of tyres and/or brakes and need to go home early.
Fuel - I use about 150 litres per day at the event.
Other than that, make sure that the car ( whatever it is ) is reliable - enough that you'd willingly drive it to the South of France.
Regarding tools, your original question, I'd say bring enough to change the wheels & tyres and change your brake pads back again at the end of the day. By the time that you've got all of the above in the car, there'll be little space left for anything else. If you need anything else larger, there will be someone there able to lend it to you.

Not sure I agree fully... that a track day noob should really need to put new discs, pads, spare wheels and tyres etc.... serious investment for a new starter. Fit new brake discs and the hardest pads you can find.

Assuming he's piloting what's in his garage (Clio 182?) I'd certainly agree to saying checking all fluids are in good order, that tyres have decent tread (the front's will take a battering, but the rears on a 182 will last well and can swap front to rear), and of course assuming the discs and pads are in decent condition.

Middle of april rob, 2 weeks before the event. No earlier definately, but it might slip till a little later, give peeps.as much time as possible. Won't be the same without you there! There are a couple of people that have expressed interest in tuition already.
Also is Steve's sunbeam back on the road yet?
Unfortunatly the sunbeam is still a bare shell at moment - in the process of being rebuilt with a completion date of late June - needs to be finished in time for Le Mans Classic! Also is Steve's sunbeam back on the road yet?
I'm hoping to attend the weekend as a volunteer marshall if that is of any help/possible?

Guys - a little request...
Is anyone out there willing to take 2 Jerry cans to Marham for me (I'll fill them and drop them off a day or 2 before) - I can't fit them in the Ultima and have a feeling that more than the normal lunch time trip to the petrol station may be needed
What day are you going, and whereabouts roughly are you?Is anyone out there willing to take 2 Jerry cans to Marham for me (I'll fill them and drop them off a day or 2 before) - I can't fit them in the Ultima and have a feeling that more than the normal lunch time trip to the petrol station may be needed
I should have no problem with room in my car.
Assuming my car holds up for the day then I think I ought to bring a jerry can too, my steed this year will be a bit thirstier than last time.
