I did consider bringing my four year old grandson, but the "strange whine from the rear" thread has already been on the TVR section, so locking him in the boot when i have had eoungh of his noise will be clocked by someone who saw the thread.

I might have to bail on this as a fella is coming to buy one of my cars tomorrow morning. If I meet with you it will be at Thetford rather than starting at Cambridge but it really just depends on what time the guy gets to me (conservative estimate puts his journey time at five hours). Gutted if I miss out tbh, you'd better post a shedload of photos!

Tescos Milton does have a fuel station. Carry a jerry can with you? I've got a 20 litre one if you want me to bring it.

I think the easiest thing to do is when we all turn off to High lodge, the two of you go straight on to the BP on the A11 and then come back. Marked A on the map below.

Thanks for the offer but i'll be fine, looking at the route theres no worries about running out on each leg with a fill up before the start and again at Thetford. and i dont want to be carrying any extra weight then necessary!!

Plus there is very limited space to put anything with a passenger unless they fancy hugging the jerry can for the whole journey!!!

There's no actual filling station in the middle of Thetford Forest, unless your car is so green it runs on trees.....so remember to peel off just before lunch and get some fuel on the A11.

High Lodge Is clearly signed and is half way between Thetford and Brandon, IIRC.
