Well, a lot louder than when I came on the February run to Cromer.....was 90 decibels, now 105 decibels. Plus the odd pop and bang.

It's all very well for you guys, I have moved to Newark since then......95 miles just to get to the start.

No way am I gonna make it now. Only just got in from Norwich.

Careful tomorrow morning. Them roads are mighty slippy, even in the RS4!!

Well what a fab run, super weather, great crowd of people and a scrummy breakfast.

Big thanks to Darren for doing the route.

Hope battery problem gets sorted soon.

Yes, thanks to the organiser(s). I assume it was Darren, just covering myself in case he had whippers-in assisting. Lovely breakfast, great company, and some lovely fast roads. Well done Darren, excelled yourself again. And you led at exactly the right number of leptons.

Awesome flames, 2bar, as well as a variety of snap crackle and pops........what are you running that car on at breakfast time? Rice Krispies?

What a lot of fun - quieter roads mean more PH friendly progress wink

Some pics

I'm pretty sure I won the least distance from bed to meeting place - 1.2 Miles up at 5am showered and left the house at 5.28 arrived 5.30 on the dot - I was however beaten by Paul C (Gewy)

Street lights still on at the Carp Ark meeting place - but I refused to use a flash so pics aren't great

Lovely patina on the skyline (think it shows up better in other pics)

Hustle truck (I'm sure having a pink badge on a scooby means something - can't have written it down)

Shortest distance travelled - No hairdressing tools left in this car overnight

Who's ASB-O?

Longest distance award I think goes to the TVR - 95 miles just to get to the run start yikesthumbup

"Oi Lads PHEA Run Virgin" (play nice with him or he won't come back again)

Ba Na Na

White is the new Black - Actually I love white cars - I especially Like them when the go like a "pursuit car" V6 and a charger - yummy

Nice Arse

It really is

V-Tec kicked in or something like that - tidy and not mucked about with I think - didn't see it much so it obviously moved nicely

Could have done with a seat at 5.30 in the morning and sure enough one arrived 20VT wink

Got 8 cyls uses em all - made a nice noise between 6000 and 8500 rpm

Tidy 197 - new PH'r or a change of user name I forget things quickly unless I write them down

Bravery award goes to the two man crew of the MK for several reasons

1 - the the lack of any weather protection
2 - not wearing ear plugs
3 - Low MPG and a 20 L tank with a run length of 120 miles yikesyikes

The real shocker was Darren being earlier than most PH'rs - Unheard off - I reckon he definately came straigh from a club!!!

Everyone seemed to feel it would have been better to stay in bed - some people who planned to do the run may well have done just that biggrin

Run Pics next
