Ah ha. A bow tie meeting perhaps. Might put marks nose out of joint though.
We should get a couple of groups of AMOC cars along as well as some classic Jaguars.

Cleaned and fired the BBQ yesterday.
Will get the kettle primed.

Off to do more tidying.

A big thank you to all of AS Motorsport for today (especially Andrew), the hospitality was great, it was nice to see the cars and met some great people. Even the weather they had arranged was perfect for the bike!

Thanks to ASM and Darren for organising this visit. Those DBR1/2s are amazing creations, and it's great to see them produced from such modest facilities. The demo(?) car was hurtling back along the A1066 as I was heading in the opposite direction and looked and sounded glorious.

Thanks to ASM's small army of volunteers for giving up a Sunday to dish up the refreshments and look after us. Hope EACH did well, too.

Nice and varied - if small - turnout of PHers. It was nice to see the Mc12C which, judging by the blood-n-guts at the front, had managed to sneak up on some EA wildlife! My car of the day, though, was that drop-dead gorgeous blue Corvette convertible.

Great to get out and meet a few more members and chat with a few I met on my last outing. Big thanks to asm for letting us look around there facility and Darren for organising. I also met the demo car on the road and it really did look (and sound) great when it was on the move!

Thanks Andrew and Mark... A lovely way to spend a few hours.. I hope the turnout was all you expected and deserved.. ( I did spot some sweat on Marks brow as I told him there were a few more Astons en route !! )
Thanks also to the cake and burger folks !! Didn't need dinner that night !
And also to everyone who turned up at Stowmarket.. Sorry if it wasn't McLaren fast Neil but I was a little concerned that the plastic TVR may overheat and melt ! .

I was avoiding rust on the road from a Datsun and the mclaren stayed back from getting stone chips from my sticky tyres! I had warned him about chav cars on ph run having no thought for others and one overtook him to prove I was right ! Thanks for a good day out to all concerned !

Albeit admittedly belated, I wish to thank everyone who turned out for our Visit to AS Motorsport.

It was great to catch up with some regulars and meet plenty of new members during a lovely day out - even the weather played ball. A wonderful social occasion, surrounded by cars. Perfect!

I was the last to leave after chatting with our gracious hosts. Thank you to Andrew and his team for laying on free refreshments and food having already thrown open the doors to his lovely facility.

I have been informed that £270 was raised for the charity
