Hi Alex.

I always bung in a couple of fold up chairs. Sometimes they are used, other times not smile

It's been bloody gorgeous here today, late 20s & sunshine all day. A grey cloud passed and to be honest I have a good feeling it might be reasonable tomorrow. Hopefully any rain will hold off. I'll report as early as any one wants in the morning. I'm practically on the castle's doorstep.

It's drizzle here, does look like it's easing and getting brighter.

For those interests the BBMF Spitfire is due to leave RAF Coningsby at 1540 and flypast for Kimbolton set at 1605, weather permitting.

Very enjoyable day, good convoy up from Ipswich despite the weather, time for a McD's breaky at the meet up location and then on to the car show with lots to see and do.

Thanks as always to Darren for organizing and everyone who attended, great to meet you all and your cars, hope to see you again at a future event, will definitely have this one down in the diary for next year. Thought we had a really good location in front of the house and layout with the cars and central gazebo seating area.

Given the state of the weather as I left at 7.30 this morning I cant believe that I seem to have picked up a slight sunburn forehead during the afternoon!

To Echo what Mark has already said, big thank you to Darren for organising, and an even bigger thank you for somehow getting us the best position. Can't believe the weather held off when you consider the downpour we drove through on the way over. Nice to meet you guys and look forward to the next event.

Hope to get some pictures up soon.

Another thank you to Darren, from me and the family. The weather was unbelievable, considering the forecast. Also, it was very wet back home apart from a small part of the day.
Kimbolton ordered sunshine and got it for the whole day.

It was also great to meet up with everyone as well.

I have some pics to share, so I will get that sorted as soon as I can.
Oh, and not forgetting a short video of the day. (Need some time to put that together though)

clapWell done to Darren and the East Anglia Piston Heads for a thoroughly good day out today at Kimbolton. It was nice to meet you all and you made us feel very welcome. To echo others we had a good pitch in a prime slot for a small gathering in quite a large Show, Thanks Darren we don't know how you did it.
Sorry we left without saying goodbye and leaving you to take down the gazebo I hope you had help.
Just settling down now to watch the Moto GP, with Ferrari red faces, after a day that started wet and threatened rain most of the time. I'm sure we'll be up for it next year and with a camera this time silly can't believe i left it at home.
all the best G&M

Nice to meet you too, although you were missing in action for most of the day, I only saw you as you arrived then as I was leaving!

What another fantastic day out.

Thank you to everyone who turned out for what proved a very enjoyable day of nattering and car viewing.
With 9 of us braving braving the poor morning weather, we another varied display on offer, from the latest of hot hatch to Italian GT.

I can't believe how lucky we were with the weather - we seemed to have a micro climate of global warming! As with others, I packed for rain but ended a lovely shade of red.

With so much to see and positive feedback from you guys, we'll be sure to return thumbup
Sorry I wasn't about when a couple of you departed.
Great to meet the newbies and catch up with the mix of regular faces.
Many thanks again for you all coming along smile

Finally, another rare speedy upload means you can already view my photos from the day - Just CLICK HERE

Our next Show sees us return to Helmingham Hall on Sunday 3rd August - details will be posted very soon.
