PHEA Roadshow: Kimbolton Charity Car Show - Sunday 13th July
Discussion
I had a really good day out at Kimbolton. It was great to meet you all and I also enjoyed the convoy up/back. Despite bringing suncream I failed to use it and also joined the brigade of rosy cheeked and red foreheaded people upon leaving - though I am grateful it rained everywhere but Kimbolton.
Thank you for organising everything Darren and I look forward to the next event.

Some great photos there Dylan.
A Thanks to you and mark for hooking up with me for the run down.
It made a big difference to the journey (even the detour, Lol)
I have some footage of both your cars, which i will use, once i get some time to put the vid together.
As long as you are both ok with that.
(Dylan, your exhaust note is the biz when you open the taps, and i love those wheels.
Please don't scratch them.......)
Also glad Alex managed to join us ok in his GTI (Nice to have met you)Oh, and i love the rear camera...
I need to pull the pics off of the wife's camera soon.
My son actually went off with it at some point and took quite a few himself, of which i was pleasantly surprised of the shots he had taken.

Here are some photo’s I took on the day. (Sorry Gretchen, I did take a photo of your MX5 but it came out blurry… must have been the yellow paint, too bright for the camera!)
Either that or you were shaking in excitement at it's presence I feel bad that I went AWOL. Going to attempt a few next month though so I'll make up for it. If I'm not barred!
Are you on FB? Some great photos appearing.
Grant, Yes it certainly made the monotonous drive less so by having the convoy up. Those b@st@rd roadworks threw me though! Alex reckons he's done it before and he lives nearby so I don't feel so bad.... Thanks for the thumbs up on the wheels too. I know it gives the Porsche 'purists' heart palpitations but it's my car and not on loan from Stuttgart so i'll do what I wish with it.
Gretchen, sorry no Facebook for me as I have a few business Facebook pages to manage as it is. I am sure I will make it out on future events though, I don't plan on being a stranger, so will no doubt see you again!

I have finally completed and uploaded the video to you tube.
Please excuse the cock up at the beginning, but i had already rendered at that stage and really needed to get this uploaded.
NOTE - This may not play on phones / tablets and games consoles due to the soundtracks used.
Enjoy:-
