Hi Kidders,

I've been trying your mobile but haven't been able to get through.

I have a colleague who is after a set of wheels refurbished on his Civic Type R, but two things he has asked....

What sort of lead time do you have at the moment? and, do you do a mobile wheel refurb service? - I was fairly sure you didn't but as I wasn't sure I thought i'd best ask.

Hope you are keeping well (and busy).

Cheers,

Tim.

Hi, will just post this on behalf of kidders! He has been very busy over the last few weeks with a lot of changes in his life some personal some business some good some bad! I'm sure he will get back to you via here as soon as he sees it however I will say he is having a open day on the 2nd of August at his new premises which would be a ideal time to pop along and discuss your needs.
Don't know if I will break rules by posting up a address so if you want to pm me I will give you all the details.

Thanks. Yeah I missed his open day with the PH guys as I will this one because of work.

I'll hopefully be able to pop down and see him one Monday when I am off.

Thanks again for your reply smile

Hi Tim, not sure what number you have used as I've had no calls from yourself or messages. Generally email is the best way to contact me so if you do have any enquires please use kidmanspaint@gmail.com, we do also offer a PH discount for members on things like alloy wheels and paintwork correction.

With regards to lead time, we are now at the stage of moving from temporary work premises to our new site at Vulcan Road, we should be fully operational from Monday here, but are fully booked up for the next couple of weeks so if you require something sooner we wont be able to help I'm afraid, earliest would be middle of August.

We used to be only mobile based but have progressed more to workshop focusing on speed and quality which is much easier in controlled conditions, alloy wheels are no issue to do mobile but at the moment we wont be doing mobile for a few months because of the move.

We have just taken on a full time detailer to increase workload capability to enable us to handle busier times more effectively, because our main line of work is providing contract services for dealers we tend to periods where we are flat out just doing their work and have to hold on booking people in, hence the move to bigger premises so we can handle more cars, and more staff.

We are getting there though, it's been particularly tough over the past couple of weeks because my father who had supported me massively in helping the business since the start suddenly passed away on the 8th July, aged just 59. Not something we were expecting especially at this stage of my life so it's fair to say its been a very tough time.

Hi Gareth,

Firstly and most importantly, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and my thoughts are with you and your family frown.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I'm glad to hear you are busy. I think what i'd best do is pass on your email to my colleague and let him contact you directly to explain exactly what he is hoping to have done.

I will pop over and see you sometime soon once you are in and settled.

Best Regards,

Tim.

Just to chime in also.

I'm not in any serious rush, but could do with all 4 alloys on my Saab 95 being refurbed. To know a PHer does this, and in Norwich, is good smile

As I say, I am in no real rush, but sometime this year. Best to email you with some more info?

I've been waiting patiently for Kidders to get back to me about a job that was discussed a long time before recent unfortunate events.

The earliest we could get you in would be next week, we moved to new premises yesterday and all going to plan, we have a shorter week this week as we are closed Friday for the funeral, I had assumed you made other arrangements, if not Thursday/Friday next week is possible and sorry for not responding in a timely manner, I've been running both sites, sorting out a new employee and looking after family at the same time which is a particularly traumatic experience truth be told, not even had to to grieve frown

My wife is away with it all next week, so I will try you when I can get my hands on the car again.
