Well, I wanted to do Cadwell Park again this year and my normal track cars either need trailering or are very sensitive to tyres depending on the weather so I decided to just take the back seats out of the Brabus and just drive up there and drive it straight out on track as it had been so good at Snetterton recently
It was damp to start with, but the no too intrusive abs/traction control on the Brabus handled it well. So much so that an Evo let me past!

It started to dry out and the fun began, I caught up an Elise and it was holding me up until he lost it on a corner and spun out. Then I had a Civic Type R and then this

A normal Porsche Cayman, not an S. I passed lots on stuff like Fiesta St's, Golf Gti's etc and also had a Focus ST let me past when he spun of after I had been pushing him along for half a lap.
The only thing I could not keep up with was a Mk1 Focus RS which was probably not standard, so I will not get too upset about that as I was in an almost standard Smart car lol.

Oh, and do I get a prize for achieving this in a Smart Car.

I had to disconnect the battery to try to clear an engine check light that came on for some reason so it reset the computer. This mpg included a drive and wait in the pits and a warm up lap of course, then a cool down lap and cool down in the pits so god knows what it was actually doing on track. Must have been single figures. These are renowned for running a bit rich, butb that is ridiculous for a modern 1.5 turbo. The remap should improve power and economy!

Saw you there - now annoyed I never got onto the same piece of track as you for some fun. I was in the TVR taking Coppice at around 100 mph - that track is so rewarding, isn't it?

Did see see a TreVoR. Yes, great track when you get it right. A few offs weren't there.
