Yeah cheers everyone for my first run with ph. It was great fun. I think I need to pamper my poor merc after treating it like that on those twisting roads trying to keep up with the rs4 and the gti (gti surely modded?). Poor thing felt a bit out of its comfort zone !

Thanks to Darren and Mark for organising a great day. Met some great guys with some lovely motors. I'll try and have the beemer to a higher standard for next time wink

Sorry I had to bail half way through the afternoon run, my son felt ill (not from the run laugh) so we called it a day.

Going home slowly at about 50 then what I thought was a stone hitting the bottom of the car but must have been one of the two bolts that snapped! Then lots of fibreglass scrapping sounds cry

I liked the Nova tagging along !

Oh, :/
You where not the only one. I lost both bolts holding top hat cover on. Then 2mi from home the spring clip that holds door lock in place fell off biggrin
All fixed now.
Hope your repair doesn't cost you to much.

Thanks smile
Hope to tag along again (probably next yr now)

Thanks Mark and Darren, another great choice of roads.

Shame some old fella in a yellow lotus could keep up for the run home laugh, clearly needed to nurse it home in one piece!

Great fun today! Was happy with how my MR2 done, was good to stretch it's legs a bit. My mate in the Volvo also had fun and is planning on joining in the next run.

Good to chat with everyone, can't wait for next time. Hopefully with more power smile

Hi Mark, the Esprit is just fine you know what kids are like if they can get one over on parents. Hope the searching for an Esprit is successful its a good time to buy now as prices seem to be rising, just be aware there are some dodgy ones out there. Many thanks to Darren and Mark for sorting out all the routes etc. and making it a very enjoyable day, hope to see you all again soon. Dave

Really great day and for a change we didn't get held up by much traffic. Great selection of cars with everything from mid engined supercars to ..well a Nova! And a pretty rapid Nova by all accounts.

The Hustle Bus did me proud again, not bad for a 17 year old SUV with 150,000 on the clock. However, I "might" have a new toy by the time we do the next one biggrin

Big thanks to Darren for leading and the rest of you for coming. Any feedback on the route and the end points appreciated.

Oh and did anybody else in my afternoon group pap themselves when they saw the blue flashing lights in their mirror? smile

Thought the routes both in the morning and afternoon were really good. Nice twisty bits with plenty of long straights allowing those of us without bonkers minis or lambos to still overtake the sunday dawdlers safely and keep the group together.

More of the same next time please thumbup
