southbound the two lanes split into 3 at the roundabout (mildenhall right lane, a11 middle and A11 and bury left lane)
So probably even more accidents on the roundabout as people (muppet's) take the mildenhall lane yet want to carry on down the A11 - just to jump the inevitable long queue that will be formed in rush hour.....Feel so sorry for people wanting to come out from the Icklingham/BSE turning - will now be a faster more constant stream of traffic on the roundabout to give way to - anybody on here have to endure that in the morning? Why oh why didn't they put a southbound slip onto the new A11 where it now crosses the Lakenheath road - would have at least allowed people coming from Icklingham/BSE to have an option in the morning and with all the works already in place probably wouldn't have cost much in materials or time!
Any wagers as to how many years it will be before a flyover is installed here at Fiveways (like Hardwick at Kings Lynn)?
Apparently opening on 12th December as there is a Celebration breakfast of the Thetford Business Forum in the morning when Highways will be joining them.

Look forward to pomp and ceremony as the ribbon is cut and all those Londoners rush up to steal our houses, rape and pillage....

The Londoners all turn off towards Swaffham in their RR sports - Chelsea on Sea is in North Norfolk, after all.
I think Hardwick was designed for a flyover but it was never actually built. Took them about 15+ years to get around to it didn't it?

50% of the Thetford - Mildenhall Side
Full Opening was Friday 12th Dec
Was nice to be able to complete the 9.1 miles distance in much less than 20 mins for the first time in nearly 2 years
(Time completed withheld for obvious reasons)
