I've decided to take the plunge and go FI on my GT86, Cosworth have released a Stage 2 supercharger kit which looks very OEM and yields 80hp with an uprated exhaust, apparently the supercharger is rated up to approx 400hp with a 'few' additional mods, but that's too far for my needs (at the moment). Double the power sounds fun but I want the car for both road and track.

It's going into Fensport in Feb to be fettled, I'll keep you updated.

I've not decided yet, it may be that I'll put wider tyres on the rear, 225 or 235, but I'll still stick with 17in rims

I don't know Eddie, you're a lot cheekier overtaking into corners ;-)

Picked the car up from Fensport this morning, what a difference!

Any speed any gear it just takes off.

Oh it was a tad damp, but Cossie was just brilliant.

Excellent result.

Maybe we should do one before on the stock restrictor. (So you can take a win)
Then again after I've opened mine up a bit more. (So I can take a win).

It would also be a nice way to work out the difference the restrictor makes.

But be warned... I've just seen a dyno plot of the same spec as mine! wink Same manifold and exhaust.... 288hp at the hubs!

biggrin

Only fighting talk! Its clearly for research and bragging rights this experiment!
