Hi guys, as some of you know I spend a fair bit of time on track at Snetterton. I have not been on track for a couple of months so have sorted some track time.

I may go out for a while at the next Summer Wednesdays, helping JKING in his E46 330 on an evening trackday with Javelin on the 26th May.

I have booked the 3rd June evening with MSV and have negotiated a great deal of just £60 for the evening if anyone want to join me as a taster before our main annual PH trackday on the 15th July with the Summer Wednesdays evening event to follow on the same day (Darren will post about this soon)

Anyone who want to joint the discounted group deal needs to contact Stuart Garland at MSV Brands and mention Fast Eddy to be added to the group and get the discount

I'd be keen for this eddy but I still have some problems with the blackseries.

Definitely be there in July though!

After the first track outing with Eddy, the bimmer is going back to his place for all bushes to be upgraded including subframe and diff.

I think it will also require new discs and pads :P

What is the problem Sam, getting parts?

Think you need me to sort you a cheap reliable track car to add to your collection mate

I never normally do evenings as I like to have insurance and the cost is prohibitive for a evening session.

However, I have literally just taken out a policy which includes unlimited track cover.

I just need to check my calendar at work tomorrow, but I'm definitely interested in this. smile

It was with Manning. http://www.manninguk.com/automotive/index.php

It includes unlimited UK track days, but European ones would cost extra each time. You also don't have to inform them in advance of the track days.

The policy was about £760 in total. (It was a bit more originally, but I increased my excess to £550)

To put that in perspective, normal road policy quotes were around £350 - £400 from all the main companies, and one off specialist track day cover would be around £150 each time.

As I plan to do at least a couple of track days this year, I thought that was quite a bargain.

AMG are out of stock of my oil cooler, waiting for a new batch to be made.

Not sure a metro would work for me!

Hi Eddy,

I was thinking of doing the Snetterton evening on 3rd of June also, would you mind if I tried to tag along to your offer?

Had my first track session on the 26th at Snetterton with Eddy in my 330i.

I went out for the sighting laps to slowly go over the lines to take, then Eddy took my car out with me passengering to show its limits and lines at speed (suffice to say I was a little bit scared :S)

I went out for a couple of sessions afterwards with Eddy as passenger. The session went well, with the car handling quite well however the brakes were/ are pants on track. Once they started getting hot and heavy braking, we noticed large amounts of vibration through the car!

Was a very enjoyable session, and Eddy was great help. Couldn't have asked for more!!

All in all, great fun and have booked my next session for 23rd June :P

Car is currently at Eddys getting bushes replaced for SuperPro bushes.
