Great day yesterday organised by Eddy and Darren
Weather was a bit poor in the morning, but it did brighten up after lunchtime.
Plenty of cars (79 in total), I had at least 8 (maybe more) sessions during the day with a few passenger laps thrown in with Darren and the chap with the Skyline (awesome car btw!!).
I did get some new wheels to try for the track however they were too big :S I did have a few moments where came into corners a little bit quick but no going onto the grass. And one or two moments with some sideways action (last corner after Coram coming onto Senna Straight)
All in all a very good day

Posh surroundings:
What a spot on event! I rather approved of Rapido Eduardo's dealer day.
Weather started out well but sadly it dried out for the afternoon .....
At a regular track day, I find I'm just as keen on looking at the other cars out on circuit and in the paddock as I am on the driving. It was a pleasure to be out with some familiar vehicles and have a good chinwag with you guys in between, made it the best day I've spent at Snetterton (and made up for my temperature gauge constantly creeping up after 3 laps).
Gary and the Leon get the 'Can't stay in the pits award', I think.
Thanks to Darren for the laps in the RS4. I've been struggling to define how it feels on track.... I'm in an A4.... but this one is busy beating the Snetteron Circuit into submission. Thanks for being gracious enough put up with sitting in the Shed whilst doing some Banzai laps, it's not very German is it?
And Mike's GT86. Yeah, wow. Christmas list stuff. Christmas list 2023. (Sorry, I completely missed the fact you had a bump whilst I was trying to track down my mobile! I must've walked up on the other side. Hope it's all straight again soon).
I think I made a mess of my back tyres.

What a super Event! Thank you again to fasteddy for organising it all and supplying lunchtime nibbles.
Thanks to everyone who turned out to support us for a great day lapping a wonderful circuit.
I counted 14 of us
Morning drizzle gave way to afternoon sunshine. Pros and cons to that one with the Audi.
Hopping in and out of a few of your cars was great fun!
Mike, the difference between last year's stock GT86 and what you have now is astonishing. Excellent starting point, now something exceptional! You need to keep the traction control off, though
I missed going out with Gary and also with that mental Skyline.
I even missed a go in an MX5 (I can't quite believe this, as there were so many! ). Still, there's always next year.
Shame there were a few red flags, and unfortunate that one was for the GT86 - I hope she's back to full health soon!
I even managed a "track limits" warning flag for using some grass (albeit fake!). You can't stop a quattro Audi if it wants to rally.
Ivan, I enjoyed track day shedding. Great fun. And yes, I want a robot to mow my lawn.
I hope all those who came out with me didn't mind a few slower laps in a lardy saloon.
My car held up very well. The new upgraded brake pads and fluid worked a treat. Just a clean and she's ready for more track work next week!
2 tanks of fuel burnt over approximately 48 laps giving a precise 10.0 MPG - How German!
I snapped a few photos, which you can FIND HERE.
Also, I shot a video towards the end of the day and managed to get a few of you on video. I'll post a link when I've uploaded it.
Our next Event is Helmingham Hall on 2nd August, details for which will be posted very soon!
