Had this in Aberdeen, can't say as it bothers me, use cc a lot.

It won't suit all I know.

Load of ol rubbish as usual.

Lowering it to 20 would do nothing for safety and frustrate alot of drivers in the process. I lost most of my trust in the council's decisions due to the Grapes Hill roundabout tosh we have to put up with. That junction is a state nowadays.

Can't say I often get over 20mph anyway.

However, I'll gladly change all the signs to 20 for £350,000 wink Save the tax payer £50K then.

This is a good thing.

At 20 mph 80% of children hit by a vehicle will survive, at 30mph 80% of children hit by a vehicle will die, I say its a good thing and I run a 450bhp RS4 and I love to drive, round town I can keep it to 20mph for safety.

Whilst I agree with you, it's about time we educated people about road safety. In my school days in the 60's the police used to come around the school and carry out a demo.

With the old Wolseys they would race across the playground and hit the brakes, with no ABS it left a lovely stretch of tyre mark on the ground, and showed the distance it took a car to stop.

It's not only children we need to educate but adults with their bloody ear phones in or walking around like zombies texting.

Then you get those who think Red means they can cross the road.

I don't mind doing 20 either, but the pedestrians must play their part as well.
