RAF Marham Track Day - It's Back - 26/27 Sep 15
Discussion
I've just gotten around to taking the shaft off of the car to replace the CV boot I split before the lunch break. The makeshift repair it ran for the afternoon appears to have held up well and kept the grit out. In fact, the mix of gaffer tape, self fusing tape and the heat from the downpipe appears to have formed a new impenetrable material. Took about 30 minutes to cut through it! I might patent it.

We'd better keep our fingers crossed - saw in a local free rag that KL & District Motor Club's Charity Stages Rally for 2016 has been cancelled due to noise complaints from local residents.
cheers

Blimey - there's all of about 6 houses out that way.cheers

Does the sound carry more in other directions? Because on the last track day I couldn't hear the cars out on track from the pits.

Thanks Konan! My friend Baz on camera duties, sorry it's not exactly professional but it was just to give my son a flavour of what the day is like as he's too young to be allowed to come along.10 minutes shot from the venerable Lexitank!

Thanks for sharing that video! I was driving the Focus RS. I cleaned it the day after and put it back in the garage and it hasn't moved (other than rolling back and forth to stop the tyres flat spotting) since. Time to get it out again soon though.
Was a really fun day. Well organised and a good mix of cars in attendance - glad to see the dates for the next one have been announced!
