Hello all

As above I am wondering if there is a local repair shop that can inspect and measure my car for accident damage and help with my problems below?
Its an old Volvo 850 T5 R which has been a long labour of love restoration and upgrading along the way.
Last year a mechanic was reversing it out of his workshop and turned right hand down and hit the front left wing against a security post he had forgot was in.
At the time damage caused as I was told was required a new wing+Arch liner and it had destroyed the tire and required another wheel.
So I had a new wing sprayed and fitted but it has never meet the bumper properly since also had a new arch liner fitted as well and straight away the wheel ate it way through the liner, also the handling of the car is now not right when i say over take a car and change direction the car seems to grab and over exaggerate the direction you want the car to go, so much so it dangerous.
So under went X2 lots of wheel alignment and all is still the same.
I only now noticed the caster is not as close as it was from an earlier printouts from the same 4 wheel alignment place, Caster on the right was 2.49 degrees and left 3.03 degrees, as you know caster in a FWD is never bang on for the sake of deliberate geometry, but now after the impact my new print outs done in the same place now show same on the right side 2.49 degrees but now 3.49 degrees on the left also the wheel looks as if its slightly sticking out from the body further and the outside edge of the tire is wearing massively?
Any opinions and suggestions welcome as the car has become difficult to drive hard and at speed.
Thanks Greg

Hi Greg,

It seems obvious that something is still bent/damaged from the accident. Perhaps something that is replaceable like a wishbone or suspension arm which can be done at any professional outfit wink. The Bodycentre in Norwich is very good and have full jigging facilities if that is required

Cheers Eddy

I replaced both wish bones with new bushes thinking that would cure the problem and 2 lots of wheel alignment but nope, I will give them a call to see what they can do?

Are you about in the next week?

Thanks Greg
