Can't wait to get back to Marham for this. Very tempted to do both days and stop over. Anyone else planning a similar effort and care to share plans?

Yes, we're stopping over as usual - it's 275 miles one-way for us to get there....

Hmmm.
If I leave it full of fuel and with the engine running, I suspect it can find its own way to Marham, run round the track all weekend and then drive itself home. Would someone please help it to change its own tyres at lunchtime?
Just tyres, or wheels too???!!!

How quickly did this fill up last time? I'm parts swapping in my spare time at the moment so I'm not 100% sure the car will be done but I don't want to miss out!
We do have a maximum number of cars we can accept, albeit a healthy one, so leaving booking to the absolute last minute isn't advised, particularly as Rob (RTV) will be unable to deal with any 11th hour bookings on an ad hoc basis as previously done.

Regards,
Marham Track Day Team.

I'm only in Birmingham so easily doable in the day, but would be silly to do the trip twice. Anywhere you'd recommend?

Can you do late notice deals for servicemen based at Marham...? wink

I'm racing the previous weekend but if the car doesn't break I wouldn't mind giving it a run out. I deploy a couple of days after so I might have to ask the wife first... Can do instruction too if you want (lapsed ARDS instructor).

We can't officially sanction instruction due to insurance stipulations and I'm guessing you won't have any that would cover either? What we do say at the mandatory briefing is that more experienced drivers can give advice! ;-)

Have a look on the MOSS page, there's contact details on the announcements page! :-)

I'd love to bring the Midget back in May but she has a rather hot date in France a couple of weeks later so I may have to give this one a miss

Which is NOT going to be nice frown

Maybe a track car of other pedigree could be a consideration scratchchin

Have a good un lads and lasses

Cool. I'll be working as many evenings as I can grab to get the car running! Just need to be sure I can make it before signing up.

Think I was the first to sign up last year.

Please spread the word about this event to as many forums as you can! The more people we have in attendance, the better the atmosphere for everyone!!

I'm thinking I might try the Holden on slicks this time
Slightly off topic..... 3.45 to 3.70 CW&P conversion for a Monza (well not for a Monza but lets not go there)

What would you need?

I've had a look on the website but can't see whether or not we can bring in cars not going on track. I'll be car sharing with a friend on track (road legal and will drive there) but would like to bring in a separate car for tools, wheels etc, MX5s are pretty cramped!

Support cars/vans are not a problem, we have enough space in the paddock to accompany them! A few people bring (non road legal) cars on trailers which is also fine.

If anyone wishes to leave a trailer/car on base for security the night before as I know some stay in hotels and might prefer not to leave your prize possession in a pub car park, please let me know and we'll see if we can arrange something.

Foz, Marham Track Day Team.

Please note: When booking, please let us know the details (make/reg/colour) if you are bringing a support vehicle so we can issue a pass to get through the main gate!
Thanks!

I'm trying to get the thing ready before spaces dry up!

Bit on the 'normally aspirated' side at the moment.
