PHEA MEET: SSM - Wednesday 18th May

Afternoon everyone.
I am pleased to announce our next Event and our second SSM, or Social Summer Meet, which will be held on Wednesday 18th May
It will take place during a evening track session at Snetterton Circuit in Norfolk - MAP LINK HERE.
It will be an excuse to join your fellow PHer for a good catch up, watch the track action and even get on track. Booking for track time will have to be done in advance through MSV's own website.

BEFORE you do this however, our very own "fasteddys" may be able to get us a further discount, subject to numbers & availability. Please PM him via his profile for more details - Profile LINK
The Meet will begin around 4:30pm and end at about 8-8:30pm, as the track time ends.
I cannot be specific as to our exact location, so please look out for my blue RS4 or dark green Mercedes with "GEE" on the registration.
Entry to spectate at the circuit is FREE, but obviously track time will incur costs.
Track time is also subject to usual track day necessities: long leg & sleeve clothing, helmets, signing on, safety briefing and noise testing. Signing on is from 3:30pm, briefing is at 4:30pm.
You are free to arrive and leave whenever you wish, but please adhere to the site speed limits and watch for pedestrians and other cars' movements.
Tyrells Cafe will be open for business.

Yes, I will be there this month, but not driving as recovering form surgery (keep you guessing what I have had done) although I am looking at getting someone to drive our new track car project.
I will be opening a group booking though, so anyone who wants to drive on track get in touch with me first. If you book directly online you will not be added to the group and not get the discount ok.

A huge thank you everyone turned out for our second SSM despite the horrible weather! 11 or 12 PHEA cars came along, and it was great to have a catch up with you and spend some time on the pit wall watch some track action.
Some lovely cars were on track, including PHEA's very own Chris in his Porsche 944.
Once uploaded, I'll post my photos.
Next up will be Hunstanton Run on Sunday 5th June. Details will be posted very soon.

Yes, thanks to those that came in less than ideal weather. A good time was had by all though. Nice chat in Tyrrels, then wandering round the paddock looking at the track cars, then watching the cars go round from the pit wall.
well done Chris in his Porker for representing us on track. I may be fit enough to go out again soon.
The next one is Tuesday 14th June. We already have 4 people on my group. It is proving very popular as is currently only £59 and msv only have a few spaces left so anyone wanting to get in on the act contact me asap. Darren will be posting officially in a few days.
