Is there a participant list for this event? I've not received any info on how to log on to the website yet. Thanks smile

Not usually, but here would be as good a place as any to start one. Have you signed up?

How do you mean sorry? I assumed you were all booked in/paid etc?

We don't normally put up participant lists, but if people want to copy and paste a list then fair enough and I can see if I can try to update it if and when I get time!

Steve.

Hi Steve,

When I booked, I received the following confirmation on your website:

"Thank you for your payment. Your transaction has been completed, and a receipt for your purchase has been emailed to you along with a seperate email containing account details to access your booking information on this site. You may log into your account at www.paypal.com to view details of this transaction."

I didn't receive the emailed receipt, nor the separate email containing account details. I thought the latter might provide info on who was attending. No probs if not available. Looking forward to the weekend smile

Cheers,
Brian

Just some info for all attending or wishing to attend

Noise: The limit for the track day is 97db at 45deg and 50cm at 2/3 revs (if you do exceed this we will have a chat about it on the day and try to resolve the issue). There is no drive by limit.

I know its has been asked before why we have a limit as a Tornado in full reheat can exceed 145db but you must remember that RAF Marham has many personnel and their family living on station with the weekend often the only time there is no noise (we all like a little peace and quiet).

- Safety: All drivers and passengers must have helmets on and straps fastened, either full face or open, only the front seats (max 2) can be occupied on track. A fire extinguisher must be carried in the vehicle and must be secure but to hand (in the glovebox etc is fine)

- Tow hooks: As with any other track days we ask you fit your tow hooks/eyes before you go out on track. RAF Marham is a fully operational station and the runway/ Taxiways are very important to us. If there is an incident (breakdown/fire) that is likely to damage the surfaced WE WILL!! Tow you onto the grass or a safer surface by any means.

- FOD!!: This is a huge issue at RAF Marham. A Tornado engine will swallow up over 60m3 of air a second and can lift and ingest items from the surfaces. To remove and strip an engine costs in excess of £250,000 and a replacement in excess of £1m. DO NOT drop litter, and report anything missing straight away to us to it can be found.

any questions please ask

Look forward to see you all there

There are still LOTS of places available for this event!!

Take up has actually been slower than for the previous events and we do need more participants!! If anyone is thinking about it but holding back to see what happens, then please get on the website and book soon, in case the numbers are too low to make the event viable as we will soon have bills to pay etc!!!

Anyone that has already booked or that may be put off, please don't as it should be good to go, we would just like to see more cars out on track and if we have to cancel for any reason, naturally everyone is refunded 100% of their entry fees!

Please spread the word, make it as busy as possible as there is only about a week left to book (we have to shut booking regardless to sort all of the security passes) and all profits go to very worthwhile charities!

Thanks!
RAF Marham Trackday Team.
