If anybody can't make it or knows of any dropouts - would it be possible to give me a shout?

Know somebody who'd like to book but left it too late. Will go on the MSVT reserve list too.
I cant use my evening slot if you want it?
Thanks! I'll find out if he's interested in the evening.

I'll be there. If eddy would be so kind as to wake me up with a fried egg and bacon sarnie, that would be excellent biggrin

If there are any that can book last minute, the MSV site appears to be taking bookings for it again.

Worra fab day, LOADS. of grip and LOADS of fun! Eddy is epic!

50 times better than going to work.

Good to see you all today guys, thanks to Simon and Tom for giving Ryan and Colin passenger laps, hey were most impressed. Glad I could get Mr Gee out for some laps, he didn't stop laughing for the whole session, I think it was for a good reason..........

We should do this again, next month?

Excellent day. Despite everything that could be too hot, being too hot.

Many thanks for the fridge packed with cold water!

My car is now making a horrible noise that it wasn't before we started. This will add to the list of horrible noises.

Big thanks to Darren and Eddy! Especially for the nibbles...

VERY hot, oil temp kept hitting 142c and going into limp mode, gearbox was very sluggish and I very nearly trashed a set of tyres!

All that aside had a fab day and was really amazed how the C63 managed her near 1750Kg weight.

What a spectacular day!

Thank you to everyone who turned out to support fasteddys Dealer Day with the PHEA Trackday.
Great cars, as ever wonderful company and tremendous weather made for a unforgettable day out.

Thank you to Rob, Gary and Mike for the memorable laps in your cars. Revvy & Roughty little Clio, silly-fast Seat and the the beautifully balanced, power surge of the Cosworth GT86 thumbup
Karl, I hope that mad diesel Ibiza's engine issues are sorted soon when I'll again be begging you for a passenger lap or two wink

Thank you for everyone's help in set up and packing away, plus and additional thank you to those who dropped by during the day. Great to have a catch up, as always!
Of course a BIG thank you to Eddy for again arranging a fantastic experience in the ASB facility and supplying some food and drink.

I snapped away during the day, and these photos will be uploaded in due course. I will then post a link smile

Finally, thank you to those would stayed and could make it along for the evening SSM.
I'm glad to have taken the Mercedes out on track. I don't think she'll be doing it again, but what a laugh; kicking the back out on the first hair pin bend and then on to the start/finish straight. Eddy noticed we were getting some odd looks...... hehe

I was surprised how "un-bad" the car actually was. Grip was pretty good albeit with much leaning, the engine pulled well (~105 mph on the back straight, I'll have you know wink) and the brakes were surprisingly effective with very little fade. The biggest surprised for me was the sound test - it's only 3dB quieter than the RS4!
Thanks to you guys who helped spot, diagnose and temporarily repair the slight coolant leak. I am happy to report no further large leakage, but she'll be going in next week for new hoses. Apparently the ones in that specific area are the 20 year old originals!

After this track time, it was great to have a catch up in the cafe during the heavy showers smile

I think I've typed enough "Thank Yous", so that just leaves me to say, Next up will be the Breakfast Run on Sunday 31st July, details for which will be posted very soon.

See you all again soon!
Darren
