Might make it for the afternoon Darren providing I can get some new tyres on the car this afternoon, or it is bone dry.

Hi guys I'm really sorry, but cannot make it.

I am currently in Leicester and was hoping I could be ready etc on time to get to thetford on time (which sadly I would turn up late and do not want to delay you all).

Hope you all have a great time and I am sure I will see you at next years run.

Sorry again.

I live in Thetford and saw you guys driving through Castle Park and Melford Common this morning. What I saw was a bit of a shame really. Although most people drove through this 30mph section normally, there was quite a few who pulled out the the Junction there and floored it up the road, before having to brake sharply because there had caught up with the other cars sticking to the limit. I even saw an MX5 lock its wheels because they nearly drove into the back of another car.

I don't want to be a kill joy and I'm sure you guys where just a bit excited at the start of your day, but a few of you need to rein it in a bit. It all looked a bit embarrassing to be honest.

Take it easy and I hope you have a good day.

Thank Daz for a lovely run and also for the lovely weather except for the rain shower.

Hope the bonkers man in the mouldy old dough on the single track road enjoyed his day driving like a tt crashing over the deep gullys. He was so close to hitting some of us.

As for the middle aged couple telling us to slow down on a clear road even though we were driving BELOW the speed limit. What has the world come to that a couple of OAPs cannot go out for a Sunday drive with their chums!!!!! The problem is people are unable to perceive speed.

Thanks to Darren for organizing, had a great afternoon as always. Had fun playing with you and the other RS4. Had to remind myself on a couple of the greasier bits that 'they have four wheel drive Jamie, don't be a hero'. Good route made interesting with a couple of little changes. Also Darren if you could organize weather like that in future that would be great laugh

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another Late Summer Run.

Despite the very late notice (again I apologise for this), we had around 20 of us taking on some lovely roads in (mostly) dry Autumnal sunshine, save for a bit of rain in the morning.
We all managed to stay together for the most part, too!
Another wide variety of cars and superb human company really made for an excellent day out.

I had a couple of narrower sections which I may rethink (trouble is the alternative route is a tad boring!), and I hope next time we don't encounter an angry Mondeo Man or bizarre farm owners walking into the road!
The afternoon section was almost all Mark's previous years' doing, so thanks must go him - you were there in spirit, buddy! smile

Welcome to the newbies who joined us - please get in touch should you wish to be added to my mailing list thumbup

Feedback, whether positive or negative, is always welcomed as it only goes to help improve the next one!

As with all other Events this year, my photos will be uploaded in due course, after which I will post a link smile

I'm sorry to say that's it for Runs this year, but I plan to be back with another Winter Run at the beginning of 2017.
However we're not done with 2016 yet. Plans are afoot for something in November (subject to dates) and the Christmas Dinner is now confirmed for Sunday 18th December.

I hope to see you all again soon, and thank you again.
