Sunday Brekie meet - 3rd Sunday of the Month starting 23/10

Following on from the death of Pub Club thread here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... & the suggestion of a brekie meet on Sundays this thread is a proposal to start a meet

Im suggesting the 3rd Sunday of the Month & holding at the departure lounge café on the outskirts of Alton

Its on the Alton - Basingstoke road just outside Alton so easy to get to, on a road that's good for driving & has a lot of parking if numbers grow in the future

There was an Italian morning meet there recently, seemed to be well received by those attending , meet thread here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

If there are large numbers they are happy to reserve tables but that's possibly an idea if it becomes popular

Im suggesting the first meet is this Sunday 23rd October as the weather forecast is dry, getting there for 10am when they open, that gives enough time for a drive before

If anyone else fancies it post up.

You mean October right? Sadly at the PH Sunday Service at Silverstone on Sunday but an end of November meet I will certainly try and make.

If any mods read this & can change the thread title to read 23/10 please do

If there's not enough interest happy to let it slip a month, I hadnt realised it clashed with sillystone

Ok

It was short notice but there's a nice hint of enthusiasm and the weather for Sunday looks good so for anyone interested let's say it's happening. It will be good for a few to give a view on the venue for future meets. If we can get a regular Sunday morning meet going it will be good

I'm coming from Winchester so if anyone fancies meeting at M3 J9 and driving A272 to the hut and then left to Alton let me know

I'll be the fella with the Alfa 4C if your the only person who turns up ( but I think there will be a few more )

I'll be coming from Petersfield so could meet at West Meon Hut and convoy up to Alton.

I intend to leave the Shell Garage in Winnall Winchester SO23 7SL ( Just off M3 J9 ) at around 9:15

Take the A272 to the West Mean Hut Junction & then take the A32 to Alton. If anyone wants to meet there a few hundred yards up the hill from the Hut traffic lights towards Alton there's a turning on the left to Alresford, if you take that & turn immediately right you are in a large lay by . I will be there around 9:40 & leave about 9:45

If anyone fancies meeting post up & what you are in & I will know who to look out for , Ill be in an Alfa 4C. Stuart
