As thread title, I need the services of an auto electrician to fit a starter button by pass on my classic car. Tried andy smart but he hasn't got back to me. Any recommendations preferably in the Bury st Edmunds area or thereabouts. Thanks.

I have used "Rob", who works out of a small workshop behind Friends garage which is located in The Broadway which is in Eastgate Street, Bury St Edmunds,(turn of just before the bridge over the river). The premises look a bit tatty but he is very knowledgeable and friendly and more importantly his prices are very reasonable, the last job he did for me was to rebuild the alternator on my Griffith for which he only charged £40.00, whether or not he would tackle your particular job I do not know but you will never know unless you ask; good luck.

Hi David.
Auto Electrics in Bacton are fantastic.
They have sorted out several of my Uncles cars and used to sort Triumphs for Clive Manvers, before his untimely death.

Had a tracker/alarm fitted by a place in Colchester following recommendations elsewhere, did a great job. I could dig out the details if any good.
