Just seeing if there is any interest
My friend is organising a Classic /sports car show in aid of the local air ambulance and the village playing field fund,
Its on the 4th of June 10 -4 ish, there are over a hundred cars showing intrest already, there will be a fire rescue display and hopefully side shows and stall, all they are asking is that everyone puts some money in the bucket for the two good causes.
I thought it would be an ideal meet for the East Anglian pistonheads, I have also asked the local Westfield owners,
It is the first time that this show has been held , I think it has the potential to be a great annual show. ( There is also a nice pub in the village, I will try and find out if they do meals)
Thanks Steve

Hi Tankerman, PH Roadshow calling... is this the first year?

There's nothing on the PHEA calendar that weekend, so if all those with a suitable car would like to add their names below, we'll see what happens

Ah, near Lowestoft, that's why I haven't heard of it then!
One of the far flung regions of the British Empire

Sorry brain not working What is that one near Wickham Market? Ah, Parham. That was quite good.
Still hope you get some intrest, just a shame the Lotus is not ready, but I will come as its good to look at all the old cars.

still trying to get more people interested, I promised my friend I would get Quiet a few cars between the Piston Heads and the Westfield owners club, But not had many people confirm yet.
Can anyone who would like to go phone Sarah on 01728 648641, she will just ask you a couple of questions to fill in her booking form. we are trying to sort numbers as early as possible so they can work on layouts.
this has the potential to be a great show and if it goes well this year it could well become an anual event. help me please.
thanks

sorry about the spelling, typing too quick, quite not quiet and annual not anual. Too much wine.

What he said basically - can't confirm till nearer the time but i should be OK.
As it's for charity have you thought about doing something similar to the Sporting Bears dream Rides? I'd be quite willing to offer my Chim up for charity passenger rides.

Hint : be very very careful regards to insurance requirements, would hate to think of legal consequences should an accident injure a passenger. Killjoy I know

Good point, I wont be possible to give rides because of the way the entrance and exit are located.
they are having a slow response at present lots of people promised cars but only a small number confirmed so far.

Slow responses to firm up are the usual thing, having been an TVR R.O. in the dim and distant past I always found this to be the situation. However, press on and I'm sure the turnout will be fair reward for the effort. Good luck with it and see you there.
