Cut off date? oh bugger
after talking to steve last week,i was under the impression that we could just turn up on the day if the weather was good. Oh well, find out tomorrow,Hope not to get turned away
Yep, not as easy as you think, this show lark. I hope we haven't all fallen down the same comms plughole. However, Dave (crankedup) has dropped out so you can try any of the following gambits:
1) Dave sent me in his place
2) I spent two hours polishing it (actually that's been done )
3) I've travelled xxx miles specially to be here
4) Don't you read the forum? I signed up on 25th May!
5) This is the first show you've done so I'm sure you'll want it to have as much stuff in it as possible, keep the visitors happy etc.
6) I have a gun in the glovebox.
She wants the cars in ideally by 10am; I suspect I shall be fashionably late

So just how many did get in under the auspices of Dave sent me in his place?... Any chance of a few pic's to see what I missed?
Hi Dave,
We had quite a few 'Daves'
It was a new show and right on the edge of the PHEA area so we had a few regulars and about 86 assorted Westies and Caterhams that we adopted Weather was nice in the morning but got a bit chilly later on. We needn't have worried about the 'cut-off' date and being 'in by 10'; there was plenty of room and all-comers simply piled in until lunchtime! Parking was a free-for-all so Andrew's Tuscan is unfortunately out of shot.

Well I thought it was a very good turnout with a good mixed selection of cars & bikes and some TVRs (yipeee). The 'car park' was a bit rough though and I am glad I took the BMW and I pity the poor chap with the TVR I saw parked in there and there was me scared about grounding out on those ruts!
I hope the number of visitors was good and will there be another one next year? If so I MAY bring the Lotus....if/when I get round to it

If you thought that was good, the main four PHEA shows will blow you away Please bring your Lotus to them! (see www.phea.co.uk) Car park was no problem for a Griffith - didn't notice any ruts apart from just in the gateway.
Hi there , Im glad that everyone had a good time, I think for a first attempt at a show my friends did well, Sarah would like to thank everyone, I was quiet pleased with myself, between the Pistonheads, westfield owners club, tiger owners club and the Waveny valley kit car group we rustled up quiet a few cars.
For next year I will arrange that the pistonheads have there own area so we can all park together.
I think the total raised for the Air Ambulance and the local playing field fund was £900.
