I haven't owned any but suggest you trawl the Cerbera forum for the low-down on each.

One or two (depending on version/age, clutch, cams, water pipes, rear axle oil leak, suspension, etc, etc) loads of known items to check. As has been said search the Cerbera forum or you can drop me line direct. As you're down in Essex might be worth a run over to the Mid-Essex TVRCC meet as a few usually turn up there (2nd Sunday in month). You can then have a look-see and speak to the owners.

I've run mine for the last 3 years with various work done, and my 12 & 13 year old are now too large for it to be practical for anything but short runs. ( but managed to get my 21 year old in the back the other day behind the 23 year old!!!! cosy )
