Need a roof over our heads

Hey gang,

Just a thought. I have been having a problem finding a suitable unit in Norwich for let.
We need to find somewhere to fit the stone chip protection film and it needs to be somewhere local to Norwich.
Whenever I speak to an agent and mention the company name, we are automatically given units next door to scrap dealers and paper recycling centres. Basically not somewhere where a client would feel comfortable leaving his/her car with us for 4 hours.

If anyone knows somewhere I would appreciate it. Even if we can rent a corner of a warehouse etc its better than we have now.

Hi Kev,

I don't know how much help this will be, but I had friend working for a company called Viking Lighting (Theatre Lighting, PA system rental, etc). Anyway, they moved from their inital unit of Sweetbrair industrial estate. As far as I know (not 100%) but I think the unit is still vacant. Its based right next door to C&S car bodyshop, and is close to SCA rally.

Like I say, I don't know how helpful this'll be, LOL

It's a shame you're not settng up down south......

We have a whole empty industrial estate. Even better for you, they're knocking down the industrial units and building glass office buildings in artificial parkland!!!

typical.....up here, no one is building small units any more. Most are double storey and over 2500 sq ft.

there are a few leads I am looking at but it doesn't look promising at the moment.

Have you got your Salleen, My son saw a Dark Blue Salleen in Norwich (near upper Kings Street) Wednesday or Thursday night.

Yep that was me. Had the Saleen now for a fortnight.

Then again I shouldnt admit to being near Kings Street at night.


It was around 5-6pm I think. Have got a Pistonhead sticker on the back window but its at the wrong angle for any following traffic to see it

Not sure if it's any help but mite be worth trying where Pro Shine use to be over the sweet briar industrial estate. They no longer seem to be in business so i guess there space is available??

Thanks for the tip. i think they were in Metcalf Close so will have a look see.

In all our time in Norwich, we have seen most of the companies out there but never bumped into Pro Shine.
