I think I might put my name in the hat for this day. Do PHEA have an area?
Hi Richard, no stand booked for PHEA. Would be nice if a few of us could get parked up together though. If anyone is up for this drop me an email with what time your aiming to be there and I see if I can find a meeting place.
Also the weather is looking very good so far : www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=3062

Anyone know what is the story with regard to slinking off early? I want to come along, get there about 10, see some lovely cars, talk to some lovely people and probably bugger off about 2. Do you have to hang around for the whole day if your car is on show?
Some shows ask you to stay until a certain time. However I'm not sure if they can enforce it because that would constitute unfair imprisonment! It's an insurance thing - their main concern is that you will run over a member of the public on the way out
Maybe if they're officious you could say your wife has just gone into labour?!
Can we have a bit of a 'roll call, for those going on Sunday then.
Obviously myself. I understand Phil (griffophenia) is going, looks like Simon & Dawn (complete with buckets of sun!!) ,Richard in the Monaro, anyone else?
I don't think I'll be there at 10am (wife coming along) so I was thinking that if we know who's coming the first one there could blag enough spaces to enable us to park together. What do you think?

Count me in all being well, with my Tuscan. The weather forecast is looking good at the moment, so should be a good day. I intend to get there reasonably early. Its about 50 miles for me, so a nice early sunday morning blast accross the fens sounds ideal

Right then, that's 5 on the roll call so I think I see the need for a plan of action!
I think it would be good if we could meet up and arrive together to save problems with parking together later. How about meeting at Tallington at the railway crossing at about 9.45am. If I remember correctly theres a pub next to the crossing so we could meet in their car park.

I will bring along the PH banner so volunteers will be required!! I will probably have to shoot off late morning to pick up the wife, but I don,t think that will be a problem.
I will email this same message to you all so hopefully you'll get it one way or another. If your not able to make it could you please let me know. Thanks

The pub, complete with car park is still there (I pass it every day) and there's a Jet petrol station directly opposite. They've even got an Albanian car wash if anyone's car is a bit mucky.
