Excellent - I don't have any shots of my car on track. If you do have any more I'd love to get my paws on them. I'll mail you my email address. Thanks James.

Is yours the Furball?

I've got a load on here, if you mail me and let me know what you're after i'll see what I can do!
I should copyright them

Yes, the Elise is mine. The silver Cerb was also carrying Furball decals (along with a custom Cerb and a Diablo on Saturday).

Anything you have really. I guess if you have loads then I could be really cheeky and ask for a stack of lo-res and pick the best?

Some very nice shots. Did you by chance catch any of the silver Cerbera before it died (on the second lap) or the Furball Elise?

That furball Elsie was one of the few cars to overtake me several times - it was ballistic and driven exceptionally well - I assume it wasn't std or if it was it was high spec?

Ta very much. I've added a new exhaust system (up 13bhp) and I've just replaced my suspension and geo (which made a world of difference). Sticky rubber next.

I do have lots of stickers on it, which everybody knows are worth around 10bhp each :P

Thank you - thank you very much indeed - she's not bad for a 22 yr old car with 214K under her belt. Spent all winter doing a major rebuild on engine and suspension plus a cage fitted and then blew the engine at Marham earlier this year - another engine rebuild later and a few problems getting it to run as well as it did before and she's now running probably as well as it can.

Were you in the black and silver Elise - I was so impressed with the balance of it in all the corners and the pick up out of the slow corners.

I have a sneaking feeling that you overtook me at least five times during the day so it must have seemed a bit repetative - mind you I think you probably went past most things!!!

I was doing my best to keep out of the way quicker cars but apart from a few exotics that didn't seem to be out on track that much I just had to keep an eye out for the black and silver Elise.

Wow just an exhaust change and suspension yikes I assumed it was one of the Toymota blown variety

Hmmm mentally counts stickers - just the 5 small one on the tailgate to cover some dents and scratches - still as you say 5 = 50bhp more

Anyway back to topic - James if I haven't said it earlier there are some stunning pics in there. I only managed to take some static shots of the parc ferme area during the lunch break - rest of the time I was taking advantage of the track time.

After 5mins 30 secs that "black and Silver" Elise gets me again!!! I was getting used to you passing me by then...... I could see you coming up thro the corners behind me and eased off moved right over to the right hand side of the track and watched you go past - it sounded sweet!!

I was in this

With the new suspension and geo the car did feel beautifully set up. It's still a little underpowered for a circuit like Marham's. An Elise can be a fustrating car to drive on track, not being able to overtake into or around corners. Tend to get held up on the corners and in the complex only for the cars to pull away from you on the huge straights. Only option is to hold back and carry as much speed as possible through corners, hoping the difference is great enough to get you to the next corner first.

The car did seem to be able to carry a huge amount more speed through the big corner at the end of the main straight. I took quite a different line to most and didn't need to lift at 145. Undertook a couple of cars coming off that corner (about 40-50 metres apart though) and almost tripped over a couple. Apologies to the driver and passenger in the black saloon (didn't catch exactly what it was) who I ended up alongside going into the next corner.

Good fun, but I did like the previous layout with a better chicane on the straight. If it's possible, it would be great to have a small straight somewhere in the complex for lightweight cars like the Elise/VX/Westfield etc to pass and enjoy the rest of the complex.
