i was round my girlfriends house just outside honington camp last friday, and about 6 in the evening we had a hurricane come over at about 200ft and the proceed to do a beat up and short display over honington, it was truely fabulous sight, and i was just wondering if anyone (maybe Jim c?) might know what the occasion was? an anniversary, or perhaps some lucky bugger called in a few favours for a birthday bash?

i think it was maybe the hurricane from the battle of britain flight as it had 4 cannons sticking out from the wing leading edges.

If they're authentic then it's a Mark IV.

Sorry mate, wasn't paying attention. It was for the Battle of Britain Cocktail party the other day, and was the Hurricane from Coningsby, you are right.

Sounded great, didn't it!

yup, a truely 'hairs on the back of the neck' type of moment.
