Yep, just got home, about to give the Griff a quick clean, and will be making our driving way up the A10.
See you later for a drink

Cleaning the car on a dark December night when nobody will even see how clean it is - that's dedication!!

was great to see so many people there tonight on a december evening and sorry if i didnt get to speak to everyone but hopefully ive logged the faces in my memory for the next one. I didn't realise that some of you drove an hour to get there!! nice one!! how about all the people who are interested in meeting round this area put a pub down as a sudjestable meeting point in there town etc and we made a bit of a programme of it. I know for one that i'd like to perhaps travel a bit further and even a little convey could be arranged??

'Twas a good meeting. Well done Matt and Shadey. I'm surprised that there are so many other TVR owners locally. I sometimes forget that we don't all spent an hour a day on Pistonheads!

I liked the Woolpack but a different pub would also be fine by me. I think it's probably best not to switch venue too quickly though, maybe in the spring when the evenings are lighter and we can see where were going?

Seconded! How about some rounds of next years 'TVR Challange'?

Don't forget that there is the (mostly TVR) PHEA monthly meet at the Gardeners (usually) on the last Sunday of the month.

Nice little meet last night. Sorry I didn't get to speak to that many of you, but maybe next time. Thanks for the invite.

As Steve has already mentioned, the PHEA meet is the last Sunday of each month (although not December) at the Gardeners Arms, Tostock nr Bury St Edmunds. I will, as usual, post up a reminder thread a week or so before the next meet. Everyone welcome.

Went and took the car out on a 'rolling road' today, and as it hit 170mph the speedo dropped off to nothing and the rev limiter light came on???? anybody had this happen to them before?..............whilst on a 'rolling road' of course. im thinking that it was probably just the potentiometer for the speedo having a bit of a moment.

Hi all,

It was good to meet some other local owners last tuesday. Just in case anyone missed it, the next get together is definitely Tues 2nd Jan, same place 7:30 onwards. I guess everyone will be glad to get out of the house by then !. Have a good xmas one and all. Andy.
