Indeed I do, of an evening the Silver Beastie has been known to go out hunting the odd unsuspecting quarry on the Fornham Bypass.

I also enjoy the Fornham bypass or the BSE mulsanne straight. I have noticed a certain amount of noise coming from that area in the small hours during the summer time.

Ah, the Fornham Bypass, aka The Bridge Run. Used to measure time/speed to the bridge from Thetford end of the bypass..... Often hear ppl having a hoon along there late at night, dont live too far from there.

Thetford end towards sugarbeet rolling off roundabout at about 30mph in CGT got upto 180 at the bridge and still had 6th to go. This was in the summer on a very dry and grippy night but I wouldnt recommend trying anything on that road until next year now - slippery as a slippery thing covered in baby oil and has big lumps of sugar beet all over it!!!!!

There was me thinking it was only the West Suffolk Cruisers got above the national limit on BSE’s answer to Mulsanne!

Local legend records that once upon a distant time another Porsche living locally saw 1.75 on the dial at the same marker, only hearsay though. Once upon a time a Noble 400 saw 1.7 in the vicinity but that’s more folklore than fact, allegedly!

Still now 993 RSR’s got himself a CGT perhaps somebody might actually get over the national limit as obviously nobody has done yet other than the West Suffolk Cruisers!

lots of boy racer types tend to hang out in the layby (theford end, going to thetford side of the road)on that straight, you see them having races there in the summer sometimes.

Not quite BSE, but the A11 from the M11 junction 9 turn off has a nice bit of road following it...

My bike mad neighbour said he hit 1.8 on it with his 1000cc Harris (motorbike) when it first opened...
