I need a sub installing and I need someone to do it. I have most of the kit.
I'll need advice on the reset of the bits I need and a competent installer.

Has anyone got any recomendations?
It might help if I say I'm in Norwich

Like Green Landy said, Norwich In Car Entertainment (NICE, the ones with the smiley face logo) on dereham road.

If it wasn't on such a modern car (I'm assuming its for the BMW?) I'd offer to do it for you but Ive not done an installation on something that new so I wouldn't trust myself.

Yep its the BMW its going in.. No room to swing a cat in the VX (there is a small sub behind the drivers seat though)
NICE have done installs for me in the past. Norfolk Car audio always seem to try to lead me up the garden path.. I have stuff left over from prevoius cars and want to use that. They both like to sell you new kit and wont install other peoples kit.

I dont think the factory ICE has any pre outs although it had a factory upgrade with 1 or 2 subs under the seats so I was wondering if this could be tapped into?
If not its an atenuater job on the rear speakers.

All I want is a man in a van or a place willing to install my kit

I have seen a van about in Norwich but as I don't need ice installing I haven't taken much notice, sorry. Your best bet might be looking in the back of the EDP or someother local paper.

Perhaps you could consider something like the JL Audio Cleansweep?

If you speak to Gary at VCF Motorparts on the boundary Road, he should be able to point you in the right direction.
I know he is a stickler for detail and only uses decent people. As they sell ICE stuff they must be able to recommend someone.
Tell him I sent you.
