Following on from the first meeting last month, shouldn't this thread title be 'Fenland TVR club' meet? That would avoid confusion. It's intended for past, present and future TVR owners so OK if you haven't bought your's yet. Advice and encouragement is freely available!

Sue and I will be there. Hopefully there will be some definative news from the factory today, but failing that there is always gossip.

might not be able to make it this week, bad planning on my behalf. Had a six yard skip delivered and they have put it right infront of the garage doors.

Unforch I have no intention of buying a TVR... but with the 89 xpack v8 vantage, I guess I am allowed honourable exemption from this club requirement? :-)

Matt of Sebring (Tall Bloke) got this ball rolling by phoning round his TVR customers to see I we fancied meeting up for a beer and the occasional drive out.

At the first meeting last month there were about 10 Tivs. Ian V turned up is his Corvette but I don't think he was ostracized much. It was a dark night though and his motor made all the right V8 sounds.

Matt himself turned up in a 4x4 something yikes but is hoping to get a Tuscan company car one day.

I,ve just tried ringing Sebring to speak to Matt, phone but there is no reply. I,m guessing they start back tomorrow.

Scott & I should be along to this! Just got to let him know that's what we're doing tonight.

I thought about buying a TVR once - can I come? hehe

Well they haven't barred me with the Corvette (yet) laugh, so I would guess your welcome.

I might pop in to meet a few PH's but I'm not a TVR owner or likely to ever be able to afford one

How about an early V6 Wedge
It'd probably be more economical than your Landrover too!
